Abstract :
This paper addresses past and predictive reliability indices and provides their comparison at the delivery-point level. The comparison is illustrated using a model of the Idaho power company (IPC) system that includes transmission facilities 46 kV and above. This paper is a result of ongoing activities at IPC to improve reliability at the system and delivery-point levels by evaluating past performance and by applying predictive methodologies.
