Abstract
Early detection of entrance of a new user in a multiuser communication channel is considered. Multi-hypothesis quickest detection algorithms based on the generalized cumulative sum (CUSUM) test are investigated and then applied to this scenario. Finally some simulations are provided to show the general behavior of the algorithms and also to justify some analytical results obtained
