  • Abstract
    Temperature control plays a very important role in industrial controls, most of which are realized by the PLC control system. Temperature system is a nonlinear system, which is hard to be controlled by the conventional PID controller because of the lack of an accurate mathematical model. In order to solve this problem, this paper presents a new temperature fuzzy control system based on OPC technology, in which the fuzzy controller is implemented in MATLAB while the field control is carried out by PLC. This paper gives a detailed introduction on how to build this control system. The experiment results will demonstrate the validity of this method.
