Abstract
Compared with the traditional power systems, microgrids (MGs) with distributed generations (DGs) are becoming more and more attractive during last decade. The MGs can operate autonomously or it can be connected to larger grids. During VSC-based MG islanded operation, which use droop controller method, the desired frequency of VSCs is altering regarding the output active power. One of the main issues for MG operator is accurate selection of control system parameters and proper strategy determination for MG operation. So stability analysis of MG in different operation condition is important. In this paper, an autonomous active and reactive power distribution strategy is proposed. Also equations for the components of a typical MG are modeled and then several fault conditions are simulated. Real-time results are presented to verify the proposed stability analysis strategy.
