  • Abstract
    This paper focuses on the problem of estimating the propagation delay between two noisy sinusoid signals with the same known frequency and amplitude. Recursive Gauss-Newton (RGN) algorithm is introduced to solve the time delay estimation model given in [1], rather than LMS. The proposed algorithm is termed RGNADES, which combines the convergence rate advantages of RGN and filtering advantages of ADES. Simulation results show that the proposed methods greatly improve the convergence rate as well as stability in traditional ADES using LMS method.
