Abstract
During reliability analysis of the metro door system by the traditional FMECA, some evaluation indexes are fuzzy and uncertain. So it is difficult to obtain an accurate and effective result. In this paper, firstly, FMECA was performed for the metro door system. Then, the group decision theory was used to improve the accuracy of failure probability. Analytic hierarchy process was used to determine the weight values of the factors, and the improved criticality of each failure was calculated for the metro door system. Last, the DEMATEL method combined with the value of the improved criticality was used to analyze the comprehensive impact of the failure mode and the failure cause of the metro door system, and the weakest parts of the metro door system were found. The proposed approach in this paper can also be applied to analysis the failure of the complete metro train, and it gives a new and efficient way for the improvement of the reliability design and maintenance of the metro train.
