Abstract
A description of tactical planning strategies at pot plant nurseries is given and the application of interactive planning systems to this area, is discussed. A model for such a system is described and applied to the design of the expert planning system PROPLAN, `professional planning aid for pot plant growers´. PROPLAN is a software package supporting tactical planning at pot plant nurseries and runs on IBM-compatible PCs. It is menu-driven and attached to a database in a popular relational package
