Abstract :
The revolution of Internet-enabled instrumentation is emerging as a revolution in measurement and automation. The proposed work is to design a low-cost system, which integrates several online experiments to monitor and control them over internet using LabVIEW environment. In this paper, the online communication between a client and a server system is established using LabVIEW build-in web server application. With the help of Internet protocol, client system provides the reference value according to which the control action is performed by the server through which the experiment is connected. The online system is developed successfully and the results for both open loop and closed loop control is being published on web page, with this HTML page a client can monitor and control the speed of PMDC motor over an internet using LabVIEW. It is found that the stability of the closed loop system with, or without load is achieved in the internet environment.
