Abstract :
This paper presents a method for using simulation as an integral part of the design process for switching power converters. A forward (two switch) voltage mode control converter, operating in continuous conduction mode will be presented as an example. This paper describes a step by step approach using the SaberTM simulator as the tool of choice. The results provide a logical method which the designer can use to incorporate simulation as part of the design process
