  • Abstract
    We address the impact of bandwidth limitations on the operation and performance of the energy-efficient broadcasting and multicasting schemes developed for all wireless networks in our earlier studies. After a discussion of the properties of the all-wireless medium, we describe algorithms for broadcasting and multicasting, and we indicate how the impact of limited frequency resources can be addressed. Alternative schemes are developed for frequency assignment, and their performance is compared under different levels of traffic load
