Abstract
This paper reviews GTE strategies for centralization/consolidation of the maintenance and administration of the commercial telephone company switched network. The strategies and applications are presented here to be considered for application in the Military Communications Network. The focus of this paper will be two-fold. And, second, expanded information regarding network surveillance and control will be provided, with suggested implementation considerations.
