Abstract :
Addresses the question as to why feed horns, and corrugated horns in particular, are to be found in quasi-optical (QO) feed systems. The position of the phase centre is discussed. A brief outline of the manufacturing techniques used at Thomas Keating Ltd. to make horns is also given
