Abstract
A bulk Er:Yb tunable laser has been locked to nine absorption P-lines of isotopic acetylene in the 1541-1551 nm. Beat note experiment between two identical lasers shows long term stability better than 0.44 MHz rms. Linewidth heterodyne measurement (<50 kHz) and Allan variance have been reported
