Abstract
The paper presents an original approach based on a real time simulation of the motor to drive control system testing. The system is based on a DSP board hosted by a PC. The combination of the high elaboration performance of the DSP board and the high level user interface of the PC makes the system very powerful and user friendly at the same time. The paper presents the proposed theoretical approach, describing the system used for the experimental tests and shows the results of some experimental work
