Abstract :
A steel C908 galvanizing line voice alarm system is established under the OPC standard, and OPC data acquisition server collected field production data, then the data is sent to voice alarm client by UDP protocol. According to the requests of field production client the judgement is made whether production is affected by fault or not, when major failure occurs, the system voice provides alarm information and other related contents. This paper, combining object-oriented thinking with traditional software design methods, realized the OPC data acquisition, UDP data transmission, real-time data processing, monitoring and information management to galvanizing process. This system reduced the frequency of major accidents, improved production efficiency and good results were got in online operation.
