Abstract :
The authors show a switching power amplifier for audio application, which uses PWM techniques. The fundamentals of power switching amplifiers are shown. Simulation results and experimental results for soft commutation are presented. The final goal of this study is to obtain a laboratory prototype of a switching power amplifier with soft commutation, which presents high efficiency and high audio fidelity
