Abstract :
Information hiding technology is one of the supporting technologies of information security. A new image information hiding algorithm based on quadrilateral partition is proposed in this paper. The algorithm firstly performs the least squares fitting to the pixel gray values of the secret image and obtains a piecewise polynomial. Given degree of fitting polynomial and control error of fitting accuracy, the corresponding self-adaptive image triangulation can be performed accordingly; a triangulated secret image is then obtained. Recording the partition information of the secret image as quaternary number, and embedding the scrambled partition information and vertex gray information of the secret image into a carrier digital image, we obtain a stego-image. Extracting the partition information and vertex gray information from the stego-image, the receiver can recover the coefficients of the fitting polynomial and further reconstruct the secret image. The experimental results show that the proposed method has high hiding capacity and good invisibility, and the reconstructed secret image is satisfying.
