Abstract :
Thumb-to-finger tap interaction allows users to perform eyes-free discrete symbolic input in virtual and augmented reality environments. The DigiTap wrist-worn device senses the jerk caused by a tap and takes an image sequence to detect the tap location, without impairing users´ natural hand movements and haptic sense.
