Abstract :
Power complementary systems find applications in digital filter banks. The authors present two new structural representations that span the entire set of IIR (infinite-impulse-response) power complementary vectors. The first representation is in terms of complex planar rotation angles and gives rise to a lattice structure. The second representation is in terms of unit-norm vectors. The structures are also minimal in the number of both scalar delays and parameters used.
