Abstract :
The magnetic levitation control system of a metallic sphere is an interesting and visual impressive device successful for demonstration many intricate problems for control engineering research. The dynamics of magnetic levitation system is characterized by its instability, nonlinearity and complexity. In this paper some approaches to the levitation sphere modeling are addressed, that may be validate with experimental measurements.
