Abstract :
The paper presents the algorithm for recognition of spoken words that belong to limited dictionary. The algorithm is based on statistical pattern recognition. The short overview of theoretical background of different phases of the algorithm including basic signals filtering, start-point and endpoint detection, dimension reduction and linear classifiers design are included in the paper
