Application of Area Transform Based Motion Tracking to Multiple Moving Objects Case

A method based on the area transform and capable of reconstructing moving objects in video frames to track multiple objects in real time by analysing video sequences acquired from a fixed camera has been developed and implemented on computer. The problems in the reconstruction stage and computing the trajectories of moving objects have been determined. An algorithm, that is not affected by the occlusion problem, has been developed to correct for the segment interchange errors in the trajectories encountered after the reconstruction.
