Abstract :
The paper presents a comparison of the accuracy of several approaches to modelling the annual number of supply interruptions and their duration in a MV municipal cable distribution network when estimating the costs of penalty payments to be paid by the given distribution company to individual consumers as a result of breaching the guaranteed standards of supply continuity.
