  • Abstract
In the paper the method of simulation of power electronic systems with induction motors is presented. The analysis of power electronic converters is based on application of special switching functions, that enable treatment of the inverters as multiport networks with controlled voltage and current sources and eliminate the necessity to assign the states of power semiconductor devices. The macromodels of nonsaturated and saturated induction motors and of various types of power electronic converters are described. These macromodels can be widely applied for computer simulation by using circuit analysis software packages.
