Abstract :
Cooperative activities, when providing planned interaction among learners, can be used to engage and support meaningful learning. The use of games, besides making the learning experience a richer and more stimulating process, can supply the learner, with an abundance of challenging and ludic situations. When games and cooperation are combined within a learning activity, it is necessary to formalize the whole flow of the cooperative learning process, so that the suitable educational resources can be defined and appropriate actors and actions undertaken. In this paper we propose an extension of Cooperative Learning Flow Patterns (CLFP), assuming cooperation as a mediator of the interaction process, in order to formalize some aspects of cooperation related to the use of games in learning activities.
