  • Abstract
Intrusions to Wireless Local Area Networks is a fact of everyday life and handling them is becoming more and more challenging. Currently there is no standardized reference model which can be used to compare and evaluate existing or design future Intrusion Handling Systems for Wireless Local Area Networks. Hence this paper describes and discusses the construction of Inter IHS Communication Subsystem Ontology of Intrusion Handling System´s reference model. The proposed ontology is based on the concepts of various ontology modelling and simulation tools. Careful attention is given to support two important functions: manage the dependencies between ontologies and at the same time to keep and restore their consistencies if they change in order to accommodate new information, or to adjust the representation of the domain as the world changes.
