Abstract :
This article deals with the description of development of control applications for the hard real-time operating system Phar Lap intended for embedded systems. The system consists of a laboratory model of levitation of ferromagnetic object in an electromagnetic field, a control PC with performance of an embedded industrial PCs and a remote PC connected to the control PC through TCP/IP. Control PC is equipped with Phar Lap RTOS that provides accurate timing and priority based control of multithreaded control applications with the console interface. Client PC with Windows OS is connected to the control PC through TCP / IP and client application allows a remote control of model through the Internet. The control application was created in C language in MS Visual Studio 6 environment extended with the SDK Phar Lap ETS. The client application was created in Visual Basic 6.
