Abstract :
The electromagnetic behavior and the dielectric mixtures characterizations it is a very important problem even if it was first tackled more than one hundred years ago. Knowing the distribution of electric field and electric displacement in the non-homogeneous mixture realized from homogenous components and estimating its effective permittivity, it is a very important in the design of non homogenous dielectric with specific electrical characteristics, required for a specific application. In this paper, one realizes the modeling of dielectric mixtures with different concentrations, shapes, dimensions, orientation in field and spatial distributions of inclusions. It presents both the numerical results of simulations for the effective permittivity and analysis of them, compared with those obtained analytically using the relations proposed by different researchers. The effective dielectric permittivities of mixtures was calculated using finite elements methods (FEM) with Maxwell 2D, 3D software from ANSOFT corporation.
