Abstract :
The paper presents selected aspects of a single-depot vehicle routing problem with multi-commodity heterogeneous suppliers demand. Main attention is paid to the problem of certain goods groups transport on the same vehicle. To solve this problem each supplier is characterized by a different goods group which is in his possession. Also the structure and the characteristics of a goods transportation system, depot, suppliers and vehicles were defined. Finally the authors formulated the vehicle routing optimization task with the criteria of transportation costs minimizing.
