  • Abstract
    The DC motor has the characteristics of good linearity and outstanding controllability, so it is the best choice for majority variable speed motion control and the closed loop position servo system. This paper presents the research of a high performance control system for DC motor. The system was designed with dedicated IC (L290, L291, and L292) and microprocessor AT89C52. These devices with adequate software together form a complete microchip DC motor servo system. The system is both fast and accurate with the features of modularization, simple structure, and high reliability.
