Modeling and Simulation of the billet´s heating process in a furnace with rotary hearth

This paper presents a method for the numerical simulation of the billets temperature into an industrial furnace. A very important aspect in approaching the problem was the fact that there were considered both the temperature variations from the exterior medium of the billet from the furnace and the temperature variations from its volume.
