  • Abstract
Cosmic rays monitoring became a very studied field nowadays. A smart system for monitoring rays is composed of mobile devices that are able to measure in realtime the fastest particles which are moving in space. In this paper, a reliable, reduced cost and long-life system for monitoring rays is proposed. By integrating Geiger-Muller tube with very low power wireless devices, the system may be used as a mobile system and may send data to computers using Wi-Fi. The reliability of the system is ensured by using different types of software agents which are able to negotiate using smart algorithms in order to solve several situations that may appear during lifetime, as system reconfiguration in failure or join cases, changing channels, device reallocation, monitoring data and so on.
