Abstract :
The processing errors of globoidal cam are mainly from the center error between the tool and the cam body, the offset error of the cam body and the swing of the tool. The machining quality of globoidal cam is real-time monitored based on Statistical Process Control (SPC) to improve the machining quality of globoidal cam. And a multi-variable error counteract tactics based on mirror compensation method is proposed. Then, a machining quality monitoring and error control system of the cam is established. Through the online measurement and machining experiment, the results show that the proposed method of machining quality control can improve the machining accuracy of the globoidal cam effectively.
