Abstract :
To solve the exception handling problem in single and small batch Manufacturing Execution System (MES), an drive mechanism base on Event-Condition-Action (ECA) is presented. The formal description of ECA-based drive mechanism is given firstly in this paper. And then how to realize the aware of exception in ECA-based drive mechanism is introduced. The concrete way is that for two typical kinds of abnormal events, the technology of real-time monitoring and periodically polling is imported to catch the exception. At last, how to realize the decision analysis in ECA-based drive mechanism is explored. The concrete way is that the subjective assessment from production scheduling staff and the objective analysis from decision analysis algorithm is combined together to determine whether the conditional constraints related to Conditions is met. In the meantime, a simple case is given to verify the effectiveness of decision analysis algorithm.
