Abstract
In order to reduce the pin count, complexity of layout and power consumption, a high speed serial interface protocol named JESD204B has been proposed by JEDEC committee. This paper presents a specific implementation of transmitter controller based on this protocol. The implemented controller has been verified with an industrial receiver IP core under a data rate of 5Gbps.
