  • Abstract
    A new substation linear state estimation method is proposed to deal with analog bad data and topology errors fast and effectively. This method makes full use of the three-phase multi-source measurements to establish measurement equations and pseudo measurement equations, and calculate them together in substation. This way, analog bad data and topology errors can be identified synchronously using the largest normalized residual test. As it is a linear estimation problem, it will be simple and fast without iteration. Simulation results show that, this method can easily and effectively identify bad data even in case where multiple analog bad data and topology errors exist simultaneously.
