  • Abstract
Preventive maintenance of electrical equipment is of great significance to maintain power system stable, prolong the service life of equipment and reduce the system power loss. The effect of maintenance is heavily affected by human factors, and human errors might have a negative influence on maintenance results. In view to this situation, this paper analyzes human factors in maintenance firstly, and then establishes a periodic maintenance model considering the impact of human errors. Numerical example analysis illustrates that the optimal policy which maximizes the availability is affected by human errors, percentage of maintenance failure and repair time. At last, this paper introduces a practical method to quantify human error probability, and several measures are suggested to manage human errors in maintenance.
