  • Abstract
    A kind of high ground clearance, compact self-propelled paddy variable-rate boom sprayer was developed. The transmission and paddy variable-rate spray system were designed and calculated firstly. And variable-rate spray system has been validated in field trials. The results showed that, the average operating efficiency of paddy self-propelled variable-rate sprayer was 8ha/h; the average deposition of variable-rate spraying was 2.64μL/cm2. Compared with quantitative spraying, the deposition decreased by 59.94% and the spray distribution coefficient of variation decreased by 56.09%.
