  • Abstract
    According to the pre-treatment process to the numerical simulation of structural progressing collapse, a program is developed based on the explicit finite element method by using VC++ language and APDL statement which is unique to ANSYS. This MFC program can export structural collapse analysis APDL text of ANSYS/LS-DYNA, which can liberate the analyst from the complex pre-processing. The numerical simulation is conducted and the result of pre-treatment program wireframe model is similar to the GUI wireframe model which proves that the pre-treatment program can be a good alternative to ANSYS GUI to build a wireframe model of frame structure, and the middle column force-unloading displacement curve of numerical simulation has similar trend with the experiment curve which demonstrates the practicability and reliability of the pre-treatment program.
