Abstract :
A distributed space-time block-coding (D-STBC) scheme based on best relay selection (BRS) is designed for single carrier frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) cooperative transmission system with multiple relays. Considering frequency-selective fading channels, the statistical analysis of the end-to-end signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) is firstly obtained, based on which the closed-form expression of the outage probability is derived. Moreover, asymptotic analysis of the outage probability is also presented to reveal the diversity gain of the designed scheme. Finally, Monte Carlo simulation results are presented to validate the exactness of the analytical expressions and the diversity gain in high SNR.
