  • Abstract
    Planning and construction of power grid depends on electric forecasting accuracy. This paper puts forward the GM(1,n) prediction method based on electrical characteristics of different industries, and studied its effects on the electric power demand analysis the fourteen leading industries in ChanCheng. Then, it is found that five industries have a significant influence on electric consumption by correlation degree analysis. Lastly, the optimal GM(1,n) model considering the key factors is brought out. Application examples show that the forecasting by this method is more accurate. It demonstrates the validity and applicability of the optimized GM method and provides guidance and reference to improve the level of power grid planning.
