Abstract
Theoretically, high frequency RFID readers have ability to operate in the distance of one meter. However, most practical systems can only perform correctly if tags are up to three centimeters. This paper will analyse some of the most important RFID system parameters that affect distance figure. Moreover, a new design for 13.56Mzh reader´s antenna that operates efficiently within more than 10 centimeters will be proposed and discussed. Analysis of the most important RFID system parameters is presented.
