  • Abstract
These Current cellular systems based on microwave frequencies are limited by the availability of spectrum. So the increasing demand for high-definition multimedia and high speed computer communications has led to the need for a new generation of wireless networks that support higher data rates. The 60 GHz band is considered to be a promising candidate for building such high speed, compact range wireless networks. A proper characteristics of the wireless channel is the key issues for modelling a Wireless communication system. Wireless channels operate from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna through electromagnetic radiation. In principle, one could solve the electromagnetic field equations, in conjunction with the transmitted signal, to find the electromagnetic field impinging on the receiver antenna. This would have to be done taking into account the obstructions caused by ground, buildings, vehicles, etc. in the vicinity of this electromagnetic wave.
