Abstract :
A spot-focusing metal plate lens antenna used in high-temperature measurement is designed, it consists of a conical horn, several metal plates and a water-cooling metallic sheath. Good performance of standing-wave ratio (SWR), gain and focusing action at 10GHz is obtained. The focal length and 3-dB beam width in the E-plane and H-plane are measured because of the need of near field measurement, a good agreement was found between experiment and simulation.
