Abstract
A three-layer transmitarray element with 360° phase range is proposed in this paper. It adopts receiver-transmitter approach: the receiver receives incident power and the power is transferred to the transmitter through a plated-via and phase delay line. A phase shift range of 180° can be achieved as the length of the phase delay line varies from 0.6 mm to 2.8 mm. When the interconnection point between the receiver and phase delay line is changed to the symmetrical position, the other 180° phase shift range can be provided. Meanwhile, the transmission magnitude is maintained at a high level.
