Abstract
Nikola Tesla, Serbian - American inventor, is one of of the most prominent electrical engineers and inventors at the end of XIX and beginning of XX century. He is most known as inventor of induction motor but in 1880s and 1890s he had a number of succesfull patents in the fields of transmission of electrical energy and wireless telegraphy. The global significance of his innovations induced Tesla early to reflect on the global problems of humankind.
