Abstract :
This paper presents a new dc-dc converter derived from the Triple-Active Bridge (TAB). The proposed converter (here named DAB+DAB) has twice the gain of a conventional Dual-Active Bridge (DAB) converter, four bidirectional ports and can operate as interface between unipolar and bipolar dc networks or as a high-gain DAB. The DAB+DAB have ease making and operation, presenting great potential to be used in dc microgrids.
