Abstract
A dual-passband frequency selective surface (FSS) is presented. The complementary square loop resonators are used in each unit cell to obtain dual-passband response. The proposed FSS structure is independent of incident wave polarizations and angles because of centrosymmetric of the unit cell. The FSS exhibits dual-band response with -3dB bandwidth of 5.39GHz-6.31GHz and 11.85GHz-15.04GHz, respectively. The separation of the two bands is up to 3.85GHz. The measured results show a good agreement with the simulations.
