Prototyping a career center online internship-and job-offer module

Todays changing and competitive labor markets present a huge challenge for students in finding a suitable internship position or job. The paper presents a developed working prototype of an online module, which serves as a career center in connecting students with academic institutions and companies in an effort to find and manage internship positions and jobs. The paper presents an overview of current career centers, which exist at different universities. Following that, the requirements and architecture of the developed online module are presented, as well as the actual module prototype in function. The paper also includes a discussion regarding future development of the module.
