Abstract
A novel label processor subsystem for 100-Gbps (25-Gbps × 4λs) burst-mode optical packets has been developed with a significant reduction of power consumption and latency; based on an enhanced optoelectronic serial-to-parallel converter and a novel optical-trigger-pulse generator that consists of an SOA and a single-chip OEIC high-speed current driver.
